Little
Slice of Home At Gauchos Village
"For owner Kevin Aksacki,
Gauchos Village Churrascaria on Brand Boulevard is a slice
of home.
The Brazilian barbecue buffet
is decorated with animal skins, wooden beams, thatched awnings,
stained glass lighting and ornamentals that were imported
from his farm town back in Brazil. The marinades and cooking
methods for the restaurant's foods are based on the recipes
of Aksacki's mother..."

Dining
With Debra
"When Kevin, owner
and chef of the new Gauchos Village in Glendale, came to
the United States he brought Brazil with him - not only
the decor from home, but a hip pocket full of spices.
The decor is original Brazilian
farm and American cowboy, modeled after the farm of his
childhood, with wooden overhangs and a bamboo-type ceiling,
colorful tablescloths, spurs, chaps, and Brazilian flags..."

at Gauchos Village in Glendale, would seem a no-brainer.
Churrascaria is the Brazilian style of barbecue where waiters
tote skewers of different styles of meat, carving off chunks
for patrons to sample one by one, and our tummy'd been grumbling
to try this new place..." The

Opa
Brasil Bacana! -
Glendale's Gauchos Village is "like wow" for
the carnivore
"Going to an all-you-can-eat
Brazilian barbecue in Glendale during Lent may not have
been such a good idea. But I was more tempted than the cannibal
who had given up missionaries only to have the Bapist Convention
come to town.
You could almost hear shouting
and screaming in the vineyard as my dining partner and I
strode into Gauchos Village..." The
